Potassium hydroxide

Caustic potassium, caustic soda, potash ash

Store in a cool, dry, well - ventilated warehouse. Stay away from fire and heat. The storage temperature shall not exceed 35℃, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%.Should be stored separately with easy combustible substances, acids, etc., and do not mix store with other chemicals.

Potassium hydroxide (chemical formula: KOH), commonly known as caustic potassium, white solid, soluble in water, alcohol, but insoluble in ether. Hygroscopic and deliquescent in air. It reacts with carbon dioxide to form potassium carbonate,so it can be used to absorb carbon dioxide. It has the common characteristics of alkali and can be soluble in water, also with strong caustic .Dissolve in water and release a lot of heat.

Used as desiccant, absorbent. Used for making potassium fertilizer soap, oxalic acid and various potassium salts, also used in electroplating, carving, lithography, etc. Mainly used as raw material for potash production. As analytical reagent, saponification reagent, carbon dioxide and water absorbent, also used in pharmaceutical industry.

Inorganic industry, daily chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, dye industry, battery industry.
